Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently working with a leading UK Warehouse and Distribution business currently seeking an experienced Transport Planning Manager to join their Tamworth site.The client are a family run business who specialise within trunking services, contract logistics, same day express and network palletised distribution amongst many others and hold an infrastructure that serves businesses nationwide.Transport Planning Manager Position Overview

  • Vehicle routing and FTL planning
  • Connecting for outbound and backloading trailers
  • Driver briefing and debriefing
  • Logging tachograph data
  • Raising driver infringements
  • Managing the companys fleet of 20+ vehicles and Drivers
Transport Planning Manager Requirements
  • Experience in groupage and FTL planning
  • Experience with backloading trailers
  • Good knowledge of understanding operation costs
  • Experience with driver management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
Transport Planning Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary - £25K - £30K
  • Monday to Friday (8am-5pm)
