Job Description

Technical Support Engineer (Electrical)£25,000 - £35,000 + Training + Career Progression + Company BenefitsTamworth, Staffordshire (Commutable from: Cannock, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Burton-on-Trent, Nuneaton, and Coleshill)Are you from an Electrical background, looking for an office based role within a successful and growing business, offering full product and technical training and long term career progressionOn offer is a highly varied role, where you will be responding to customer enquiries, offering technical advice to resolve technical issues remotely, and also supporting with internal testing of products and updating wiring diagrams.This company specialise in the design, development and manufacture of an ever-expanding range of electrical products. They are constantly striving to stay ahead of market trends and competition so have a strong focus on new product development.This role would suit someone with a basic Electrical understanding, looking for an office based role with long term career prospects and ongoing technical development within the Engineering field.The Role:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Helping to resolve customer technical issues
  • Wiring diagrams for new components and amending existing ones
  • Lots of training provided
  • Office based role
  • Monday to Friday, days based role
The Person:
  • Electrical background
  • Basic competency with wiring regulations / diagrams
  • Previous experience within a technical support role would be advantageous (not essential)
  • Ability to use MS Office and PowerPoint etc. would be beneficial
