Technical Design EngineerPermanent£30000 - £40000 Depending on experience plus benefitsMonday to Thursday 8.00am- 5.00pmFriday 8.00am- 4.00pmPertemps are delighted to be supporting our long-standing client based in Tamworth who due to growth is recruiting for a Technical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will be a positive proactive energetic individual and a dedicated team player ableto multitask and develop strong working relationships with engineers. CAD and project experience is essential.Duties will include: Creating bespoke drawings and solutions and compiling bill of materials. Work to and suggest improvements to the technical design teams working methods. Monitor and prioritise tasks, projects, drawing requests, material trials, and maintain records on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and CRM. Attend site visits to assist the team where technical input is needed. Support technical design team, maintaining an overview of ongoing projects. Including process checks on documentation ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Encourage team interaction, creating an increased appreciation of the work undertaken benefiting the working environment and business. Conform to CE and UKCA requirements for the technical department, ensuring all certificates have been produced and provided to the customer and engineers asrequired for smooth operations..Take ownership of a project and offer technical support to Lead Engineers as required.
