Job Description

Position: Technical CoordinatorLocation: TamworthSalary: up to £55k + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits + PackageThe CompanyThis Technical coordinator role offers an exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs leading residential developers. They are an expanding firm that are looking to appoint an experienced candidate to help deliver their ambitious growth plans. Known forproducing high-quality schemes in both the private and affordable housing sectors with project values from £50m - £500m. An award-winning business they offer one of the best employee benefits packages on the market and over the last 5 years have routinelybeen voted one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK.We are looking for a technical coordinator to join their expanding team to work on working on 122 unit multi-phase traditional & timber frame build projects in Tamworth.Key Duties

  • Manage the Technical + Design process of the project from planning consent to practical completion.
  • Appoint & manage design consultants to ensure that the design is delivered within the development programme, on budget and to a high standard.
  • Manage the technical team & liaising other departments on various issues
  • Manage stakeholders & client expectations.
The Person
  • A sound understanding of current building regs and a knowledge of the financial, legal + planning processes.
  • Degree level education in construction or relevant discipline
  • Experience in a Technical coordinator or technical manager role, for a residential developer.
  • Demonstrable experience in the key duties listed above
