Job Description

Supply Chain Analyst£30,000 - £35,000TamworthA leading global retailer is looking to increase resource within the Supply Chain department and is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Assistant to aid with supply chain processes across various internal sectors including Projects, Buying and ECommerce. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting and take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects within the National Supply Chain Management Department
  • Management and control of the inbound supply chain process working with Buying, Supplier, Logistics and Regional Distribution Centre’s to deliver to agreed timeframes and KPIs.
  • Manage multiple logistics projects and tasks, liaising with and managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining supplier availability throughout the year with particular focus on Easter, Christmas, and other key seasonal events
  • Continuous improvement within role, simplifying processes and streamlining operations to maximise team efficiencies.
  • Present reports for the supply chain team
  • Managing the correspondence and information, both incoming and outgoing, with internal and external parties.
  • Key requirements for the role
  • Strong experience of Supply Chain processes
  • An ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Detail orientated with the ability to analyse and interpret data accurately.
  • Advanced IT Skills specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of Supply Chain systems like TMS/WMS/Portals/WCS or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable liaising with a range of audiences and tailoring approach accordingly.
  • Educated to degree level ideally.
