Job Description

Zachary Daniels are pleased to partnering with this highly successful, growing and forward thinking retailer in their search for a Retail Productivity Manager. This is a hybrid working role.About the roleThe role will be accountable for the management and strategic development of the labour models across our clients retail estate. Working very closely with the Head of Productivity and Head of Retail this role is will play a critical part of new process development,cost saving and investment in the store estate.The role will work across functions including senior leadership, retail, finance, HR with a budget of approaching £200m.Key accountabilities

  • The individual will be accountable for the design and deployment of the retail labour models and scheduling platform, a key enabler of RPRPRT (Right People, Right Place, Right time whist ensuring an equitable and fair distribution of the budget available)
  • The individual will be accountable for identifying and delivering cost saving and reinvestment opportunities from the labour budgets for the Head of Retail Productivity & Director of retail, then coaching the relevant teams to execute the changes
  • Collaborating cross functionally with The HR Director the individual will establish good working relationships to ensure that BAU activities needed within the UKG Dimensions platform are understood by all impacted parties
  • The successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery and ongoing development of a full suite of reporting , that enables the central and retail field teams to understand and control all costs related to labour management.
  • Working closely with the Head of Retail the individual will develop a close and productive relationship with all the retail field teams.
  • The individual will be responsible for the development of the wage planning team
  • With the Retail Finance Controller, the successful candidate will agree the shape of the retail wages plan ensure that this is inline with the needs of stores
About the candidate
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and prove experience in developing and managing multisite labour models, ideally in a retail business
  • Experience in leading a small team
  • Ability to work cross functionally both internally and externally
  • Prince2 or comparable project management qualification
  • IMS Qualified Time Study
