Job Description

This is an opportunity for a Stock Distribution Manager to join a global distribution business in a role in which your drive and vision will come to the fore in assisting with the development of the function. You will be comfortable in operating within a fast-paced, customer focused, distribution environment with responsibility for:

  • Optimal deployment of inventory to DCs / Branches
  • Set Distribution parameters (e.g. Min/Max at branch level) in line with operational constraints (space, inbound/outbound capacity, availability)
  • Set DC/Branch replenishment policies, optimize parameters (min-max, ROP/EOQ) following inventory and availability targets from the Regional Head SI&OP
  • Define DC/Branch stock profiling
  • Monitor customer fill rate performance
  • Manage parameters/business rules for stock pull back to CDC
  • Manage ATP rules according to logistics/transportation constraints and inventory/commercial policies
    • Key Qualifications
  • Experienced with inventory distribution planning and inventory deployment processes and tools
  • Experience with Sales and Operations Planning process
  • Proven analytics and IT capability with inventory/distribution planning systems and business intelligence platforms
