Job Description

Are you a qualified HGV Driver / Recovery Driver looking for a new challengeRecovery Driver - TamworthSalary: £12 per hourWorking Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00Due to continuing business success and growth our client has a fantastic opportunity available for a Recovery Driver / HGV Driver / Class 1 Driver / Class 2 Driver to join their dealership in Tamworth.The successful candidate for our Dealership Driver vacancy will have previous experience in a similar role and proven customer service skills. You will need to hold a Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Licence and have previous driving experience.The desired applicant must hold the following

  • Category C driving licence (HGV 2) and ideally you will hold the CE (HGV 1)
  • Digital Tachograph
  • CPC Training
  • No more than 6 points
A large part of the Recovery Driver / HGV Driver position involves:
  • Attending vehicle breakdowns and recovering vehicles to a local garage
  • Examine customer vehicles for damage and ensuring that damage reports are completed and pointed out to customers wherever possible
  • Maintain systems and procedures in line with department operating standards and utilise them appropriately
  • Complete repair order / invoice documentation with the customer where necessary
  • Chauffeur company personnel and / or customers where required
  • Collect / deliver small items where required
  • Display an enthusiastic, motivated and committed approach to work
