Job Description

Offering a healthy salary and holiday allowance, this is an opening for a Receptionist to join a national housebuilder on a part-time basis.Overview:Our client is a leading home builder, with a history that spans 60 years. Working nationwide, they are known for building high-quality, affordable apartments and family homes and continue to go from strength to strength.They are now searching for a Receptionist to answer the switchboard, deal with queries, take and relay messages, and welcome visitors to the company, ensuring a professional and warm greeting.Responsibilities:

  • Answer the switchboard from both external and internal callers, ensuring calls are put through to the appropriate person
  • Meet visitors and greet them politely, informing their host of their arrival and issuing them with a visitors badge, and keeping a record of their attendance
  • Answer the switchboard in a polite and efficient manner, taking messages as required and ensuring they are delivered to the correct person
  • Service all meetings and functions in Tamworth, ensuring meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy between meeting breaks
  • Manage and coordinate all booking forms and attendance sheets, entering all bookings onto the meeting room calendar and liaising with internal and external customers on meeting booking requirements
  • Coordinate and communicate set-up arrangements for meeting rooms to accommodate meetings and catering requirements, where necessary
  • Monitor and check invoices received from caterers and suppliers of housekeeping items
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for reception and Hospitality Coordinator, where necessary
  • Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring deliveries are redirected or moved to the postroom promptly.
Experience:
  • Previous experience of using and answering a switchboard
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Experience in dealing with customers in a professional manner
Working hours and Benefits package:
  • Working hours: Wednesday and Thursday 8.00am to 5:30pm, Friday 8.00am to 5:00pm
  • 26 days holiday (Pro rata = 16 days) plus Bank Holidays
