Job Description

Mechanical / Electrical Assembler£14.50 per hour (Overtime paid at a premium)Day shift Monday – Thursday: 7.45am - 5pm & Friday: 7:45am – 12pmTamworthPermanent RoleGI Pro have a Permanent role for aMechanical / Electrical Assemblerfor our Tamworth based clientThe role is a day shift Monday – Thursday: 7.45am - 5pm & Friday: 7:45am – 12pmOffering a hourly rate of pay of £14.50ph, with overtime paid at a premiumThis is a permanent full-time contractThe company- Specialist manufacturer of corrosion test cabinets for automotive, aerospace, and other sectors.The role:

  • Working within the aerospace and automotive industries
  • Mechanical Fitting, assembly, wiring, crimping, looming, soldering, brazing, pipe bending of the machines and panels from drawings up to the finished product
  • Testing of the chambers from written instructions
  • Quality inspection of work from company documentation and methods
The candidate
  • You will have either, Panel Wiring, wiring (industrial or electronics) crimping, looming or mechanical assembly experience, or brazing or copper pipe bending
  • Able to read from engineering drawings
  • Or work with pneumatics and hydraulics
The benefits
  • 4% Pension
  • Holidays 20 plus 8 stats (accrue extra up to 25 depending on long term employment.)
  • Bonus: - On time delivery (if the product goes out in 48hrs) £250-£300 per month
  • Individual performance – extra 5 hours paid per month
  • Quality bonus - £100 extra every 6 months
