Job Description

Materials PlannerStaffordshire/ Warwickshire bordersc. £35,000Nationwide Recruitment Service is looking for a talented and motivational MP&L person to join a highly successful team based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.This is an exciting time to join a vibrant and interesting manufacturing business.You will have a background in planning components and materials for a manufacturing business, working in a facility that manufactures to strict dates, quality processes, ideally lean, ensuring on time and professional delivery to customers.ROLE

  • Responsible for the production schedule, enabling manufacturing to achieve production targets.
  • Coordinate with transport/ logistics for delivery and collection.
  • Liaise with suppliers for delivery of material and plan the production schedule.
  • Coordinate production schedule/ production work flow to ensure customer delivery and revenue return.
  • Organise production of parts and monitor the business system.
  • Support stock taking, data entry., waste stream management organising paperwork to ensure adherence to environmental requirements.
  • REQUIREMENTSInventory management experiencematerials management system, ensuring that transactions are identified and that their status is accurate and up to date.
  • To be production focused where availability and supply is essential.
  • Experience of planning & managing demand streams; ability to work under pressure in an enthusiastic way, able to work in ever changing conditions typical in a vibrant business.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability and kudos to liaise with people at any level.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all your ,materials planning is right first time and on time.
  • Fork lift truck or PPT licences desired.
  • Manufacturing background ideally within aerospace, automotive, military industry previously.
  • This may suit someone who has been a Materials planner, Materials planning manager, materials planning professional, MP&L MPL or similar.Commutable from Lichfield, Polesworth, Atherstone /Sutton Coldfield, Nuneaton, Burton upon Trent, Walsall, Rugeley, Amington, Belgrave, Bolehall, Glascote, Mercian, Spital, Stonydelph, Wilnecote, Fazeley, Hams Hall, Coleshill, Drayton Bassett, Sheepey Magnor, Baddesley Ensor, Water Orton, Shenstone, Bonehill Required skills
