Job Description

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a dynamic business who are looking for a Marketing Communications Executive to join their expanding team. SummaryYou will act as a brand guardian ensuring all internal and external materials are consistent with the business brand and strategyDuties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the brand reputation through social monitoring i.e., helping with responses to online comments, feedback, reviews and complaints
  • Overseeing the websites CRM system, ensuring content is kept up to date
  • Attending and playing an active role at exhibitions and shows when Group Marketing Manager is unable to
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the generation of regular quality content and campaigns across the business
  • Producing quarterly reports on marketing and communications campaign effectiveness, identifying and taking action on areas for improvement
  • Communication to internal staff regarding company news and product launches.
  • Producing efficient briefs to Digital Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Coordinators
  • Working closely with the team on the writing, proofing and distributing of communications and internal briefing materials
  • Assisting with the implementation of marketing communications across the group with the ability to provide copy writing to a high standard for press releases
  • Developing our email marketing opportunities - manage internal email diary for the group and topic decisions
  • Assist the Group Marketing Manager in gathering market and competitor intelligence data
  • Marketing campaign management - developing marketing campaigns that will suit both B2B and B2C audiences with the assistance of digital marketing coordinator and marketing coordinator
Skills and experience
  • Knowledge of a wide range of online and offline marketing/communications techniques and concepts
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with all departments and third parties
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with a creative approach
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Competent use of MailChimp
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, including excel
  • 3-5 years previous solid marketing/communications experience in a similar role
  • Diverse experience across online and offline marketing as well as in copywriting
  • Marketing degree or CIM qualification
