I am on the lookout for a Maintenance Manager to work from our office based in Tamworth Staffordshire. Must live within a 30 mile commute of TamworthFor this role as a Maintenance Manager you must have Lgv experience. and a Engineering/technician qualification, technical background with a formal qualification to level 3 or equivalent You must be 100% Office based this is a permanent role from day one.Monday - Friday 9am - 17.30pm Salary experience dependent and there is a £5000 annual bonusFree onsite parking, relaxed atmosphere, Tea, coffee, fruit juice, fresh fruit and biscuits available in the break out roon and our offices are Air conditionedThe role is to Manage all maintenance and associated activities at Tamworth Head Office, Manage against tight timelines and budget controls, communicating with all support partners to deliver agreed service level agreements and KPIs.Ensuring that preventative measures are in place, balancing the up time of fleet vs cost, whilst ensuring regulatory maintenance compliance and Health and Safety standards are delivered meeting internal and external standards and best practices.You will ensure the effective running of a maintenance function, having the technical background to support fleet downtime improvements and positively impact on operation of the service by providing professional advice and guidance, being the first point ofcontact for any fleet related activities, working with, advising, and influencing key stakeholders and maintaining national, local networks and partnerships. It will involve extensive telephone / email interaction with both suppliers and customers.Required Experience:* Ability to demonstrate a significant improvement in service, cost, quality, and compliance, with a proven commercial awareness* Experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician within the LGV industry * Experience of working to targets & KPIs * Strong working knowledge with costings control via third party support functions.* Experienced approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure * Familiar working with Fleet MI systems* Ability to manage a small team, prioritising tasks and delivering agreed outputs* Lead by example, with a can do approach with a fast-moving environment.A full job description is available on application where we will discuss the role in more detail and the company further.Please send over your cv for a quickly arranged telephone conversation and to start your application in full.
