Location: TamworthSalary: £45K-£55K + additional benefitsSummary: Become a warehouse and transport process expert (super user) utilizing our clients state-of-the-art warehouse and transport solution (WMS / TMS). Provide support to our Logistics Service Provider (LSP) on the processes and systemsmanagement of the WMS / TMS platform. Become the Go-To person for our LSP regarding process and system improvements. Establish yourself as a key link between our LSP partner and the wider management team in the UK. Monitor performance and execution of theoperation by means of system data and identify enhancements, improved MIS and Business Intelligence.Key Responsibilities:*Support implementation of WMS/TMS by means of setup and configuration, Support testing and training Super users of LSP on system and process*Be system and process owner from client side and continuously optimise warehouse utilisation and efficient routing*Initiate, evaluate and realign warehouse, process and/or system improvements with LSP and centralized Innovations team*Manage the junior colleague(s) in your team and manage by example*Coordinate communication and activities between central management team and LSP*Coordinate warehouse, process and/or system changes and support the creation of a business case proposition*Interact with LSP warehouse management and coordinators regarding daily warehouse operation, compliancy, issues and improvements*Be involved in KPI monitoring and analysis, and periodical (weekly) operations review sessions with LSPKey Skills/Experience:* Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/SCM* Significant experience in warehouse processes and WMS configuration & implementations;* 5+ years engineer/ super user experience in a logistics environment;* Experience in Data Analytics, including Power BI;* Management experience;* Conceptual and analytical thinker with the perseverance to finish what you start;* Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative new opportunities and deliver targets;* Experience with WMS / TMS or ERP systems;* Good MS Office skills;Processing Your DataBis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
