Job Description

IT Support Engineer - PermanentIT Support Engineer / Permanent / West MidlandsMy client is a management software and risk services company. The client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team.This role will be within the IT department which supports the internal customers within the business through IT support through configuration, installation and maintenance of all hardware and software issues across the business are some of the main responsibilitiesof the role. This is a great role for a 1st line support canidate to further their career onto a 2nd line role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for 100+ users on site and remotely.
  • Support users and resolving issues over the telephone as well as desk-side when required.
  • Identify issues, risks and dependencies escalating and managing where appropriate.
  • Keeping up with new technologies advancements and adopting knowledge when resolving issues.
  • Take part in projects across the business and shadow more senior IT colleagues for training purposes.
Key Experience and Knowledge required:
  • Windows 10 and Windows Server
  • Active Directory & Group Policy
  • Software builds and installation
  • Working within a call logging system
Personal Attributes
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond promptly to queries.
  • Willing to learn new technologies and keep up to date with market trends.
  • Work well in a team.
  • NPPV3 clearance will be requested on successful candidate.
