1st and 2nd line IT Technician, Tamworth based, travel to multiple sites, £25-28KHave you tried turning it off and on againIt may be the answer but you will certainly be getting involved in much more than this as you will be getting to the heart of technical issues both onsite and remotely.Your IT skills will provide valuable technical support to users via phone or email, including troubleshooting problems with both hardware and softwareSo, as the IT Support Technician what will you be getting into * Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems. Setting up user specific workstations with necessary peripheral device* Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues* Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components* Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation* Using the ticketing system to capture a log of work completed and help highlight and resolve ongoing issues* providing 1st to 2nd line software and hardware support, giving practical advice and hands-on support on a wide range of issuesWe know you will already have dabbled within 1st or 2nd line support and have an interest in Apple based operating systems MACOS, IOS and IPADOSWithout a driving licence you would not be able to access the sites, so this is a must have, along with the passion for technology and the desire to learn, a working understanding of Internet security and data privacy principles and some experience in: 1stline Technician, 2nd Line Technician, 1st or 2nd Line Support, 1st Line Customer Advisor, IT Apprentice, IT Co-ordinator, Technical Customer Advisor, Technical Support Advisor or you will have a keen passion for ITThe companyEstablished, friendly, growing with great benefits including a free annual eye test and eye care vouchers, Bright Exchange (discounts for Highstreet Shops), access to the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), free car parking and 28 days holidayincluding Bank Holidays.
