Job Description

Inventory SpecialistWe are recruiting for an Inventory Specialist to join our Tamworth based client. You will be working within the Inventory Management team (5 within the team) to analyse and review stocking levels and replenishment where necessary, ensuring that internalprocedures are followed.As an Inventory Specialist,you will need to have/be:

  • Excellent communication and coordination, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • IT literacy particularly with Microsoft Office packages
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Principles
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Experience in demand forecasting
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Tangible experience working within a similar role
Details:
  • Salary: £24, 000 + £1, 610 lunch allowance (in addition to basic salary)
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm
  • Location: Tamworth
  • Duration: Permanent
Role of Inventory Specialist:
  • Daily Back Order Review & Resolution
  • Weekly demand planning and order placement
  • Maintain correspondence with internal colleagues and external suppliers
  • Liaising with Logistics and Warehouse Operations
  • Open order book management
  • Internal supplier invoice sign-off via SAP
