Job Description

The HR Advisor will provide a responsive and customer-focused HR service, being a key day to day contact for the HR department, and will work closely with the wider HR team to help provide exemplary HR support to the business.Client DetailsPage Personnel is representing a Manufacturing business based in Tamworth.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the HR Advisor are to;

  • Overseeing recruitment & induction, including preparing job descriptions, advertising job vacancies, liaising with agencies, reviewing applications, and organising/attending interviews
  • HR information & reporting such as maintaining accurate people data and producing reports for management meetings
  • Implementing and supporting employee engagement initiatives, to encourage social cohesion
  • Providing first-line advice and support on employee relations issues, escalating to the HR Manager where appropriate
  • Owning a number of HR processes including offers, pre-start vetting, benefits administration
  • Support in the administration of training requirements within the business, including arranging courses, updating training records on SharePoint, and identifying training needs via PDRs
ProfileThe successful HR Advisor will have;
  • Minimum A level educated, ideally CIPD qualified
  • Full UK driving licence, and able/prepared to travel to other UK sites as required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Comfortable with data and numbers, and basic competence with MS Excel
  • Good knowledge of employment law, and a common-sense approach to its application
  • Personable and pragmatic, able to develop working relationships at all levels whilst operating professionally
Job OfferThe HR Advisor will be offered;
  • £33,000 salary
  • 12 month FTC

  • A hybrid approach to working, with up to 2 days working from home each week
  • 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday AND enjoy an early finish on a Friday
  • 22 days holiday, which goes up to 25 days with service, plus bank holidays
