Job Description

We are expanding our team in Tamworth and require experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service user with his complex care needs.If you are committed, motivated, enjoy delivering one to one support and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families, this could be just the position you are looking for!Our service user is in his early 30s and lives with his family in Tamworth.He requires care on a 1:1 basis throughout the day & night to meet his clinical needs, including ventilation management and respiratory care.You will also be supporting his social, personal care, medication and moving and handling requirements.At home he likes to spend time on his PlayStation and watch films, he is a fan of all Star Wars movies.He also enjoys music, particularly rock metal music and he enjoys going to live gigs.We work hard to build close relationships with our service users and their families as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • UK Driving Licence
Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of Spinal Muscular Atrophy
  • Ventilation Management
  • Cough Assist
Shifts Available
  • Full time and part time days- 8am-8pm
  • Full time nights - 8pm - 8am
  • 24 - 36 hours per week
