The company provide training and exposure to analytical equipment such as HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS, GC-FID, GC-MS and high-resolution mass spectrometry as well as other detectors. They cover a range of manufactures including but not limited to ThermoFisher, Waters, Agilent and Shimadzu. If you are looking for somewhere to expand your engineering scope, have a real client focus, develop professional relationships and have to option to discuss new ideas then this could be your job.We are keen hear from experienced scientific field engineers, with a background in chromatography and ideally mass spec. This experience could be gained within the lab or hands-on engineering work. Onsite engineers or the go-to person in the lab when theinstrument isnt working are also encouraged to apply!In this role duties will include:* - Attend for planned maintenance appointments* - Product installations (HPLC, GC, Mass Specs etc)* - Providing technical support (related to analytical equipment)* - Attending urgent callouts - diagnose faults and perform repairsApplicants need to:* - Have a good level of chromatography instrument knowledge and experience* - Be confident in troubleshooting* - Be organised and able to prioritise* - Have a relevant qualification in engineering or analytical science (ideally BSc) or significant experience as a field service engineer* - Have a valid driven license* - Happy with travelling within territory min 50%Field service engineer offers opportunities to build your network & develop professional relationships, learn new skills, work in many locations and labs!Candidates are required to be either Midlands or South UK based - territory flexibility depending on your location.So, if youre look looking to diversify your experience & gain more autonomy in your work Apply Now!
