About the Company Working for a highly respected machining organisation that supply high precision, very low volume and one-off products into the Motorsport, Automotive and Aerospace industries.Duties of Quality Technician Maintaining AS9100, ISO9001 & ISO17025 standards Qualified auditor. Use of turtle diagrams in auditing practices. Audits of the QMS and suppliers to schedule. Raising / modifying procedures & works instructions Customer / Internal and supplier NCR monitoring using Mietrak ERP system Producing / maintaining data for key performance indicators. External / 3rd Party audit participation Working knowledge of EN 9102 FAIR (Forms 1, 2, 3 & 4) requirements along with the IATF 16949 PPAP completions. Ability to train inspectors to work to EN 9102 and IATF16949 requirements Working knowledge of Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (IAQG-OASIS) Raise plan of training for the entire workforce and deliver it. Ability to operate & communicate within all functions of PTI. Can use Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Word). Utilise the business ERP system (MieTrak). Problem solving (Customer, Internal and Suppliers). 5 Whys and Ishikawa. Production of Local Works Instructions and Quality Control Documents. Ability to raise all PPAP documents such as - Ballooned drawings, Process flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, Gauge R&R studies & Part submission warrants Calibration system management / maintenance Must have a good eye for detail. Can use & program CMMs (BHN706 and Inspect 3D Pro, 3D Geopak-3, & Euro Apex C-A776 MCosmos3 software) Use of 1st principle measuring instruments. Ensures adherence to the Environmental Health & Safety policy at all times Promotes Environmental Health & Safety awareness Monitor, control and implement where necessary risk assessment procedures Ensures all team members are equipped with Personal Protective Equipment and use itRequirements of Quality Technician Experience of AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017. Qualified Internal Auditor to AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017. Train the Trainer. Audited by BSI - AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017 Experience working with Aerospace / Automotive OEMs Able to demonstrate a good understanding of all applicable QMS requirements. Ability to work on own initiative.
