Job Description

Business ManagerWe are recruiting for a Business Manager to join our Tamworth based client for a 12 month contract.As a Business Manager you will need to have/be:

  • Previous automotive experience
  • Experience of working with dealer network
  • Experience of managing a large key account
  • Clear understanding of aftersales/parts business
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Constructively manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and persuasively sell ideas
  • Understanding of automotive logistics
  • Automotive technical/mechanical knowledge would be desirable
  • Details:
  • Salary: £43, 040 per annum
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
  • Location: Tamworth
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Role of Business Manager:
  • To be the main channel of communication between designated brand/territories
  • Build and maintain working relationship with aftersales departments and with vehicle sales and marketing of distributor/sales company and dealer network
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with marketing specialist to agree, plan, support and review launch and development of accessories for the brand
  • Work with the distributor/sales company to agree and review forecasts, based on whole business activity
  • Produce data/reports to support the role
  • Manage any negative trends in all areas by working with stakeholders for resolution
  • Coach/develop the distributor/sales company
  • Market analysis, sales and market trend forecasting
  • Ownership of marketing programs from concept to implementation
  • Covert the business/marketing plan into clear actions, including targets, budgets, outcomes, evaluation, improvement etc.
