In this multifaceted and challenging role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthlymanagement accounts. As part of the finance team, you will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and Financial Director to optimize financial processes and maintain operational efficiency.Job Responsibilities

  • Overheads Accounting Mastery: Take ownership of specific overheads accounting, encompassing both P&L and balance sheet aspects.
  • Reporting Expertise: Actively participate in the preparation of month-end, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of financial information.
  • Internal Audit Liaison: Establish and maintain effective communication with internal auditors, addressing their inquiries and facilitating seamless audits.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine current processes, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Ad-hoc Support Provider: Demonstrate a willingness to provide ad-hoc support to the business, addressing financial needs as they arise.
Location and Working EnvironmentThis hybrid role offers the flexibility of working 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely, allowing you to strike a balance between personal and professional commitments. The role is based in Tamworth, where you will be surrounded by a friendly and supportiveteam.Candidate Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification Pursuit: Actively pursue an accounting qualification, ideally at an intermediate stage, demonstrating your commitment to professional development.
  • Accounting Expertise: Possess solid accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excel Prowess: Exhibit exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, leveraging its capabilities for data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Effective Communication: Articulate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to convey financial information accurately and persuasively.
