Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Accounts Lead to join our growing team, this is a hands on role and you will take the lead ensuring the day-to-day transactions across the ledgers are posted correctly and in a timely manner.Responsibilities:

  • Management of all aspects of the purchase and sales ledgers
  • Direct Debit Management and Nominal Cashbook Postings
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Payments
  • Generating supplier payments for Director Approval
  • Reconciliation of banks GBP & Currency and invoice discounting accounts
  • Cover and support others within the finance department to ensure deadlines are met
  • VAT account reconciliations
  • Intercompany Reporting and reconciliations
  • Credit Referencing for Customers and maintain credit limits / checks
  • Year-end accounts preparation
  • Oversee and participate in annual onsite Audit
  • Various other ad-hoc accounting duties as required
Requirements:
  • AAT Qualified or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Competent excel user
  • Motivated and success driven
  • Ability to guide employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles
