Job Description

Accounts Assistant required for a temporary to permanent role based in Tamworth, working for a well established company. This role is to start ASAP. My client is looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running. You must have previous experience within a purchase ledger role. You must be immediately available or on short notice (one week) to be considered for this opportunity.Key responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase invoices end to end - matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with any invoice queries
  • Payment runs
  • Daily Bank reconciliations
  • Daily Cash allocation
Key requirements:
  • Sage50 experience is desirable, not essential
  • Good excel skills
  • Previous Accounts experience - minimum 3 years experience
  • Qualified or working towards AAT or similar
