Our client is seeking a Senior NetworkEngineer with a strong background in IT installations and fault-finding for both desktop and server systems. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role and will be based at their Head Office in Tamworth. Thisis a full-time position, and candidates should be prepared for occasional paid work during evenings and weekends. Responsibilities: Maintain and manage customer networks to ensure their smooth operation. Proactively monitor the customer base to identify andresolve problems before they impact users. Provide support to end users, both at the head office and customer sites. Design, install, and maintain VoIP, server, network, and storage environments at the head office and remotely. Configure new users and devices.Develop innovative strategies to enhance the experience and productivity of their services. Support and mentor the engineering team, managing escalated faults and attending sites when necessary. Assume a leadership role in the absence of a manager and makeinformed decisions as required. Contribute to defining best-in-class security practices and policies for the network through alignment with internal groups. Ensure security compliance across the entire customer base and internal infrastructure through continuousauditing and remediation.
