Job Role: Shop Floor Supervisor Location: Leicester, LE7 Salary: £13.25 per hour Shift: DaysThe Company: Our client is a well-established East Midlands business with an enviable reputation providing engineering solutions through design and manufacturing of products for the Automotive and Industrial Sector.The Role:The business expectation of a Factory/Shop Floor Supervisor is that they will be equipped with the skills and capabilities to demonstrate complete control of their designated production area, this would include capacity and resource planning of machined castingsthrough various production processes in alignment and to meet customer schedules and demands, whilst ensuring that quality, health and safety / housekeeping standards are of the highest level, and that ALL company internal processes and procedures are adheredto in full, as in, the key target and objective for a Factory/Shop Floor Supervisor is to present their designated area and resources to Audit conditions at ALL times.The Candidate:- Candidates must have previous Supervisory / Team Leading experience and preferably from within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment. - Although this is a Day Shift position (7am to 4pm Mon to Thur and 7am to midday Fri OR 7:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thur and 7:30am to 12:30pm Fri), candidates must be flexible with working hours to include evenings and weekends to suit the business needs. - Candidates must be able to supervise up to 12 machine operators and associated machines and auxiliary equipment to achieve production output targets. - Candidates must lead by example in everything that they do.- Candidates must have a high level of appreciation for Health and Safety in the workplace and always seek to improve.- Candidates must have a high level of appreciation for Quality and Company policies and procedures.
