Job Description

In fact, we operate in over 30 different countries, with 22,000 staff and in the last four years, have seen our share price rise by over five times!About the RoleWe are now recruiting for a Sales Support Officer who will provide excellent customer service by acting as a point of escalation for our volume sales channels. This is a key role within the business to work with stakeholders in order to resolve any queries and play a vital part in contributing to the success of our sales professionals. This position will be Leicester based.Responsibilities:

  • Perform to an internal SLA of initial response within 2 hours and total resolution within 48 hours
  • Be the Liaison between Dept and Staff to resolve issues through to satisfactory, final conclusion
  • Maintain the issues tracker on Google Drive
  • Attend Sales team meetings providing updates and key learnings
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the Heads of Sales to ensure that trends are identified and key learnings are utilised
  • Ordering of stationery and business cards on behalf of Field Sales
  • As guided by the Heads of Sales play an active role in the induction of new Salespeople
  • As part of the on-boarding of new Field Sales colleagues set up PO Boxes etc
  • Being Leicester based act as interdepartmental liaison within Granite House as required
  • Act as on-boarding support for specific applications at the occasional request of Heads of Sales
  • Support salespeople with pended application requests from GSC, liaising between Sales, Merchant, GSC and other relevant departments
  • About You
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a sales support role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication - the ability to listen, understand, influence and inspire!
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Personable and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for excellence
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate or higher G Suite and MS Office skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and gain acceptance at all levels
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Understanding of Global Payments products and procedures, and of the wider industry
  • High standards in professionalism and customer service
  • The ability to work well under pressure and work to tight timescales
  • A problem-solver committed to continuous process improvements
  • A clear view on what teamwork means to you
  • Payments or technology industry experience desirable
