Job Description

Customer Service AdvisorNorth Leicestershire£20,000 basic + bonus & overtime

The Company:ER Recruitment are thrilled to be working with our client, a nationally renowned brand who pride themselves on their quality of service and employee support.This role would be suitable for anyone who has a strong background in customer services, be it office based or face to face. The role provides great earning potential with the basic salary increasing after 6 months and again after 1 year with the organisation.Role & Responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor:
  • Dealing with high volume inbound queries via telephone and email from customers
  • Acting as first point of contact, aiming to resolve queries as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Providing quotations on products, and placing orders. Providing updates as and when necessary
  • Dealing with customer pricing, amending quotations and supporting with account issues
  • Advising benefits of Direct Debits and payment plans to customers
  • Preparation of letters and documents for customers to be sent out
  • Maintenance of the in-house database, accurately updating records
  • Ensuring company policy and regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Providing support to the sales and credit control teams where necessary
About You as the Customer Service Advisor:
  • Previous customer facing or customer service experience is essential
  • Have a proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Confident, courteous & professional manner
  • Strong team player, ability to work well with others
  • Exceptional communication skills and telephone manner
  • Intermediate standard of computing and IT skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work under pressure
