Job Description

Job Title:CNC Milling OperatorLocation:LeicesterPay rate:£10.20 - £11.50Hours of Work/Shift:Morning or NightsType:Temp to PermStart Date:ImmediatelyWe are hiring for a Machine Operator on milling machines in Leicester on two different shifts, morning, and night. This is a fast-paced distribution that handles a high volume of customer orders. You will be an important part of this team helping to providethe best possible products.Duties of a Machine Operator:You will be working as part of the production team and will be responsible for: Reading instructions Inspecting the product measurements tools Achieving set targets including the quality Be able to write documentation regarding the product Ensure that you always work in a safe and secure manner Keeping workstation tidySkills and experience of a Machine Operator:As a Machine Operator, you need to have experience with: Reading the drawings Using measurement tools such as Caliper, gauges, etc.It would be beneficial to the Machine Operator role if you also had:

  • High attention to details
  • 2 years experience operating CNC Machines
  • Operating machinery within a Factory or Industrial environment
  • Access to reliable transport, the best within 10miles. The clients site is accessible via car, public transport, walking, or cycling
