Do you have previous experience in a Project Management focused role within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment dealing with highly regulated parts and productsWould you be competent managing projects from receipt of order all the way through to delivery, on time and within budget with a customer facing aspect to the roleIf so then please read on!The basics:Role: Project Manager (No responsibilities for team management but responsible for managing the projects)Location: AlfretonSalary: £30,000-£35,000Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30 and Fridays 7:30-2pmOverview:We now require an additional project manager to join the team. Working in modern purpose built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufacture precision engineered components.As the project engineer you will be tasked to manage the project from start to finish, from initial concept working closely with the inhouse design and engineering teams managing the project through to production and then delivery to the customer on time andwithin budget.The ideal Project Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:1.Qualified to HNC level.2.Knowledge of precision engineering beneficial 3.Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills.4.Competence in Office particularly Excel, Word and Project.5.Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems6.Project Management Experience7.Must be a British National due to contract sensitivity 8.Capable of working un-supervised and using own initiative.9.Good eye for detail with a methodical approach to the task in hand.10.Confident communicator with strong customer focused skillsKey Responsibilities:1.Ensure all contract review activities are completed to company procedures.2.To be a driving member of the manufacturing team by supporting daily meetings and having a pragmatic approach to problem solving.3.Ensuring documentation packs are completed on time to support customer review and delivery.4.Management of the approvals process for project related procedures (internal and supply chain).5.Ensure compliance with the companys Quality Management System processes at all times.6.Liaison with shop floor Team Leaders and Project Engineers to ensure project milestones are met. 7.Creation and management of project plans with the use of MS Project. 8.Completion of Customer Purchase Order acknowledgements.9.Management of periodic or time bound process approvals to ensure on-going compliance.10.Support the creation of documentation packs to customer requirements.11.Control of customer purchase order revisions and liaison with accounts personnel to ensure timely raising of invoices.12.Conducting frequent customer order book reviews with customer representatives.13.Management of the designated customer order books to ensure Class Leading scorecard performance.14.Take an active role in the continuous improvement process both within the Supply Chain and across all manufacturing activity.Commutable from, Annesley, Alfreton, Hucknall, Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas.If you are interested in the Project Manager role, please apply immediately due to the urgency of this position.
