Workshop Manager Neath / Swansea / Port Talbotc£45k - £50k neg dep exp + generous benefitsOur client has been established for more than 20 years and specialise in the planned preventative and reactive maintenance, service and repair of special purpose waste processing machinery to clients throughout the UK, and as a result of continued successand an ongoing programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Workshop Manager to complement their established and professional team.Based near Swansea in Neath, the successful Workshop Manager candidate will be responsible for the supervision of a team of multidisciplinary engineers, technicians and support staff in order to ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfactionare attained at all times, assigning tasks and setting clear objectives for production and engineering team members and effectively planning and scheduling workshop activities to ensure deadlines are met.You will allocate resources efficiently in order to optimise workflow and meet objectives and productivity KPIs whilst ensuring that projects are completed both on time and within budget, managing callouts and the out of hours rota and supporting the schedulingof engineers to work on customer premises on both PPM and reactive breakdowns as they may arise, ensuring that engineers are dispatched to customer sites in a timely and efficient manner whilst monitoring engineer availability and workload effectively.Core duties for this varied and challenging Workshop Manager role will include (but not be limited to):
