Job Description

Teaching Assistants Needed in Swansea (Full Time, Monday - Friday)Pay: £350£400 p/w Start Date: As soon as possibleWe are currently in the middle of recruitment drive, looking for several Teaching Assistants to take up positions in schools all across Swansea.Were looking for somebody who is eager to get in to the world of education and make a difference to several pupils with a variety of different additional needs.What kind of roles do we have at the momentPupil Referral Units:There are several Pupil Referral Units (PRUs for short)who are looking for staff in Swansea and Carmarthenshire. You will be working alongside pupils removed from standard education for behavioural issues. The suitable candidate for this role will besomebody who is patient, has an interest in sports/outdoor activities, and enjoys a challenging, but rewarding role.Autistic ProvisionsAutistic provisions are centres set up to cater to individuals with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition). The ideal candidate will be someone with patience, empathy and the ability to work to understand and communicate effectively through non-traditional methods.Mainstream Secondary SchoolsOur mainstream Secondary schools are looking for people keen to make a difference to pupils life in the classroom. You will be assisting pupils with learning difficulties like Dyspraxia, ADHD and Dyslexia keep up with the workload in school.What will I need to start

  • The Right to Work in the UK (Passport/Birth Certificate)
  • Vetting Documents (DBS/EWCWe will sort these with you if you dont have them already, so dont worry!)
  • The ability to work within a full working week (8:303:30, MondayFriday)
  • A police check from Overseas if youve been out of the country longer than 6 months in the last 5 years
