Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside multiple secondary schools in Swansea that cater for pupils with learning difficulties as part of their specialist teaching facility (STF).The role is for an immediate start and would be full time, Monday – Friday. The role would involve supporting secondary aged pupils (11-18) with a variety of learning difficulties as the schools cater for a range of learning difficulties including; Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language Delay.You will need to be the flexible individual and be prepared to work in different areas across the authority of Swansea, supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs including Autism, downs syndrome and pupils who display behavioural difficulties.As the successful candidate you will be strong minded and have excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate with families, carers and a multidisciplinary team of teaching staff, social workers, speech and language therapists and educational psychologists. You will be organised, patient and confident, with a sound understanding of meeting the social, emotional and mental health needs of young people with additional learning needs.The following qualifications or knowledge of the following will be highly desirable, but not essential
