Our client is looking for Support Workers in different areas, previous support work experience or experience working in hospital environment would be ideal.Our client are looking for people that want to make a difference for other people that care and want to help people be independent.You will be required to provide a time limited practical and emotional support service to service users living in their geographical locality typically following a hospital stay to re-enable independent living.Flexibility is needed as you could be working from home or going to visit people. Assisting them with different needs which could be their budgets to maximize their income, to assisting with the maintenance of the safety and security of the client’s home in accordance with their wishes and their identified needs. Candidates must have access to a vehicle which they are willing and able to use in conjunction with their duties. A DVLA check will also be carried out.The candidate to have:A current DBSKnowledge of health and social care, e. g. how to transfer the patient safely, how to help the patient to sit on a chairKnowledge of working with vulnerable adults, people with mobility issues and people with physical disabilitiesAwareness of moving and handlingUnderstanding of what signs of risk at home to look for and how to ask if any are foundAreas for this role are:Whitby, Merseyside - Full and Part Times hoursSwansea areaBarrow-in-FurnessDifferent types shifts, hours of working.Pay rate from 9.00 per hourA very self-rewarding job role Required skills
