Job Description

Supply Chain ManagerSouth Wales15131/900MCirca £50,000 - £60,000This leading worldwide manufacturer is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to their management team. The role is based within their South Wales production facility, which is currently experiencing an enormous degree of growth and prosperity.This is a key role within the company which provides genuine career progression and further development. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead & develop a team of personnel across procurement, planning & stock control.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on resource and capacity required to meet customer requirements
  • Active member of the site management team
  • Ensuring that the best value in terms of quality, price and service is always achieved
  • Hands on coaching and mentoring of all team members
  • Responsibility for KPIs and prepare budget activities
  • Work closely with global supply chain to obtain competitive pricing
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent Supply Chain and Logistics experience at management or supervisory level
  • Proven track record of achievement in all aspects of Logistics, MRP systems, planning tools, stock accuracy and transportation
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Background working in a high pressurised environment would be extremely transferrable
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience of working with both customers and suppliers
Benefits Package:
  • Circa £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
