* Software Developer* Full Stack - lean to Front-EndSoftware Developer - Full Stack - lean to Front-End Location: Swansea (Part remote 1-2 days per week available after COVID)Salary: £25-32K per annum Proud to be exclusively partnering with an established, thriving digital solution business in Swansea who, despite the current climate business is booming, and they have an urgent need to strengthen the Development team with 2 mid-range Software Developers / Software Architects to work on both Web and Mobile applications.THE TEAM:In joining the team, The Software Developer / Software Architect will join an existing team of focused individuals who are excited by adopting new technologies to deliver a high-quality product to the businesses clients.THE CHALLENGE:The businesses objective is to continue to revolutionise their industry through innovative, cloud-based SaaS solutions. Their goal is to bring efficiency and value to the industry, whilst ensuring the highest levels of quality.THE ROLE:We are looking for Mid to Senior Software Developers / Architects, to build their knowledge of their system and the underlying technologies to continually develop and improve their software solution. By playing a key role in development decision making, you will directly impact the design and ultimate success of the product.You will:- Play a key role in defining the products and services- Represent the strategic objectives of the business in their day-to-day work within the development team- Be a strong communicator and leader who can make measured judgments- Guide a product/feature from inception through to final delivery- Help scope and manage work packages within your team- Be able to operate in a DevOps environment where a team is fully responsible for the whole application lifecycle - from design to development to delivery to maintenanceIt is important that the Developers are not only experienced but also enjoy working as part of a team, and are not afraid liaising with other areas in the business:- Product development (UI and UX)- Developers- QA- Operational managers- Project managers- Support and OperationsTHE SKILLSET:We are searching for a candidate with a Computer Science (BSc) degree. The candidate must be honest, enthusiastic and strive to deliver quality code.Essential Key Skills and proven commercial experience for the role include:- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript or React- MongoDB- Attention to detail and ability to use own initiative- Understanding of agile methodology- Knowledge of a full product life cycleDesirable skills for the role include:- C# - .NET Core / .NET Framework- AWS Services- Docker- Web development experience- Low throughput/reliability internet for front end development- SRE principles- High throughput backends- Elastic search- RedisYou should also be conversant in most, if not all, of the following technologies/ methodologies:- Test driven development - Unit Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing- Git / Version control- CI/CD pipelines- Application Monitoring- Service orientated architecturesFamiliarity with any of the following technologies will be useful (not essential):- Chef- Jenkins- Varnish- Nginx- KubernetesExperience:- Software Development: at least 2 years (minimum) This is an amazing opportunity for Software Developers who are looking to learn, develop and progress - whilst utilising the latest Technologies!
