Job Description

  • PHP Software Developer
  • Swansea, West Glamorgan
  • £55,000 per year
  • Plus excellent company benefits, flexible/remote working, etc.
    • Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years commercial PHP experience with some of this in versions 7+
  • Experience with supporting languages such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript etc.
  • In depth knowledge of MySQL including query optimisation, indexing and database interrogation.
  • Experience with at least one of the following frameworks: Symfony, Slim, Zend or another appropriate and similar framework.
  • Experience of using an ORM such as Doctrine is not required but would be highly advantageous.
  • Be able to write high quality, object orientated code conforming to numerous coding principles
  • Experience working in an agile software environment using tools such as SCRUM and Kanban
  • Experience working with numerous other development tools such as GIT, Jenkins, CI/CD, Ansible also advantageous.

The ideal candidate will perform analysis, design, development, adaption, testing and implementation of software mainly in PHP.
