Job Description

Senior Project EngineerAre you an experienced organised and passionate Senior Project Engineer looking to embark on the next stage of your career, or simply in need of a changeOur Swansea based client is looking immediately for a new Senior Project Engineer to join its experienced engineering team.They design, manufacture, and install specialist heat transfer and high-pressure equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, boiler equipment and superheaters for the petro-chemical and power generation industries.The role:

  • Control engineering projects from order placement to data dossier submission.
  • Interpret customer design requirements from data sheets , drawings and specifications.
  • Produce and check detailed fabrication drawings using 2D AutoCAD and/or Solidworks software.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure any variations are calculated, recorded and agreed with the customer.
Requirements of Education and Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and/or relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years in a similar role.
  • A competent user of Solidworks 3D and/or AutoCAD 2D software.
  • Knowledge of ASME, PD5500, BS1113 or EN 12952 design codes and/or experience of producing design calculations for pressure equipment is essential

  • Full time, permanent
Salary:
  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
