Job Description

  • Install, calibrate and decommission monitoring equipment
  • Responding to priority visits
  • Address any incidents and liaise with the central office over any issues or subject breaches
  • Need to travel regularly and continuously throughout your shift
  • Monitor to ensure person on curfew can be detected within the boundaries of their property
  • Following standard operational procedures, youll ensure contract compliance is maintained always
  • Occasionally, you might also need to attend court, but this is rare
    • What were looking for:
  • Good physical fitness and mobility
  • Experience working in a customer facing role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience gained in a similar setting such as law enforcement, military or similar
  • Essential that you have a full UK Driving License and at least a year of driving experience
  • Able to work flexibly on a shift rota basis and you work well as part of a team
    • About EMSCapita Electronic Monitoring Service (EMS) is contracted by the Ministry of Justice to provide electronic monitoring services (including tagging) across England and Wales. Electronic monitoring technology is used to deter people from breaking their curfews and places a stronger emphasis on rehabilitation, helping to ensure public safety across the country, while addressing the growing concerns about overcrowding in prisons.We operate 24/7, 365 days a year, so as a Field Monitoring Officer youll be expected to work a range of shifts during the hours of 5pm-1am.It goes without saying that youll have a driving license.Whats in it for you
