Job Description

JOBSenior Process EngineerLOCATIONSwanseaTERMPermanentSALARY - £40,000 -£60,000 per annum, dependent on experienceMy client is a specialist manufacturer, and they are looking to take on a Process Engineer on a permanent basis in the Swansea area. The Senior Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Degree qualified in Process / Chemical Engineering or a similar Engineering or Science subject
  • Knowledge of Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 4 years experience working in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of inorganic chemistry would be beneficial
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Understands 2D and 3D CAD
  • Some management skills would be beneficial
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to take a leadership role and motivate others
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
The Senior Process Engineer role will involve:
  • Optimising processes from inception to certification
  • Implementing process improvements to existing methods
  • Working to Health & Safety and Quality standards
  • Progressing systems from concept to implementation
  • Improving production rates and efficiency
  • Working to reduce costs and timescales
  • Working in a team to meet high standards and strive for progression
