Job Description

Principle EngineerSouth Wales21760/510£50,000 A world renowned manufacturing group is currently recruiting an enthusiastic Principle Engineer. You will be at the forefront of design and development of highly advanced products and systems for a global client base. You will be an integral memberof several key projects at different stages of completion, delivering hardware solutions and integrating them with new and existing systems. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of digital/analogue circuitry and Embedded software code
  • Design and development of power, digital and analogue circuits
  • Management and implementation of cost reduction programmes
  • Responsible for PCB design and layout
  • Investigate field issues and production issues and implementing the necessary changes needed
  • Reliability and regulatory testing of products
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Qualified to a degree level or electronic engineering or closely-related discipline;
  • A minimum of 5 years electronics design experience including practical analogue and digital hardware design, development and analysis skills
  • PCB layout/schematic capture skills and experience with CAD simulation packages
