Job Description

Platform Engineer (Azure) | Swansea | Hybrid (1-2 Days onsite per week) | Up to £60,000 + Bonus | 2 stage interview process Are you a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform Do you have experience in delivering and supporting resilient and secure Tier-1 services in the cloud If so, we want to hear from you!Yolk Recruitment is currently supporting a leading company in the search for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support all aspects of their Azure cloud platform environment.Joining the team as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will become the SME for the team, imparting knowledge to others and ensuring that documentation is maintained to a high standard. You will have a firm grasp of emerging technologies and keep up withthe latest trends and products.They are based in Central Swansea & offering up to 3 days remote per week.Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex business requirements, and design resilient, secure solutions to address these needs.
  • Deploy and configure new solutions using DevOps methodologies and automation to meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot, support, and maintain the platform, ensuring stability and uptime. Identify root causes and respond to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
Essential Criteria:
  • Expert experience and working knowledge with Microsoft Azure cloud platform, preferably AZ certified to complement working experience.
  • Experience designing and building complex solutions in MS Azure.
  • Experience deploying a variety of resource in MS Azure including, IaaS, PaaS and serverless platforms.
