Mobile Plant FitterSalary of the Mobile Plant Fitter:£35,000 - £45,000 + overtime ***My client has remained fully operational and extremely busy during the pandemic providing job security to all employees***Location of the Mobile Plant FitterSwanseaMy client is recruiting for an Mobile Plant Fitter for their business.You will work during plant shut downs and immediate repairs in the event of an equipment breakdown. With expertise ranging from leak repairs to fault finding, our field service technicians will quickly and efficiently ensure your equipment continues to do the job for which it was intended.The aim is to provide the best hose repair service in this areaKey responsibilities for the Mobile Plant Fitter :You will be working on Loading Shovels, Tracked Excavators, Wheeled Excavators, Telehandler, Crushers, Screeners, therefore experience working with these would be essential Other duties include:·Test vehicles and plant machinery and diagnose faults·Work on HGVs, light commercials and Construction related plant·MOT prep·Minor body damage·Recognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failure·Service, adjust and repair vehicles/components·Complete job records·Order replacement parts·Ability to listen·welding and hydraulicsEssential Qualities for the Mobile Plant Fitter:·Previous experience in mechanics (2 years minimum in Heavy vehicle, plant and agriculture)·Strong experience in electrics over hydraulics·Mechanical Engineering Experience preferred·Hydraulic Hose/pipe manufacture and installation experience preferred.·MS Word & Excel·Ability to follow work processes in detail.·Full Clean Driving License·Forklift truck driving experience although not essential·Please contact Ellie Hargreaves @ Auto Skills or send CV to Or call - (mobile friendly)
