We are actively seeking an enthusiastic Maths Lecturer& Academic Lead for Science and Engineering to become an integral part of our dynamic team in Swansea. As a Lecturer & Academic Lead for STEM subjects, you will develop and deliver engaging maths and science classes, creating inclusive materials and using interactive techniques to promote understanding and critical thinking. You will provide academic support,design assessments, and handle administrative tasks such as moderation, marking, and program reviews. As an academic leader, you will oversee STEM pathways, collaborate with University link tutors, and coordinate module administration for consistency. Youwill also contribute to assessment processes, assist in curriculum development, and participate in departmental meetings to enhance overall quality. Additionally, you will stay current with advancements in teaching and learning technologies through professionaldevelopment opportunities.Hours of Work: The post is fixed term, flexible hours for two semesters, from January – August 2024Salary: £42 - £45 per teaching hour depending on experience (plus additional rate for lead duties, meeting rate and marking rate for examinations)Maths Lecturer & Academic Lead for Science and Engineering Requirements:
