Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Lead Developer!Job Location:Swansea, UK (Hybrid)Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annumC# | JavaScript | Angular | Vue.js | JQuery | .NET | SQLAs a result of the continuous growth of my client , I present an exciting opportunity for a Lead Developer to join a dynamic and expanding software team. Their product is not a standard solution. By adopting a DevOps mindset and maintaining customer-specificway of being, you will become part of a group of developers who establish close working relationships with customers, development, and sales teams, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions.Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions based on provided user stories, ensuring they meet the development standards, include appropriate automated testing, and fulfill acceptance criteria defined in the user stories.
  • Break down user stories into technical tasks and deliverables, providing timelines for these deliverables, and understanding how updates impact the existing system. These tasks should be easily understandable and implementable by any other developer, andyou should also be able to review other developers work and advise on best practices.
  • Facilitate and enforce the DevOps process, including scheduling and conducting feedback sessions and team meetings. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to refine user requirements and maintain development standards.
  • Identify and address areas where additional support is needed through training, mentoring, and improving development processes.
  • Take the lead in resolving organizational issues, including diagnosing problems, implementing remedies, and conducting retrospectives.
  • Assist the Development Team Lead in their duties when required.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Over 6 years of commercial development experience or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in both a web framework (e.g., Vue.js, Angular, jQuery) and C#.
  • Basic DBS Check.
