Job Description

360 Recruitment are a specialist IT recruiter, currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Manager for an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing insurance provider.Role:IT Infrastructure ManagerSalary:Up to £55,000(We are still keen to hear from you in your salary requirement is higher) + Corporate Benefits PackageLocation:The ability to work from home with occasional visits to various offices Type:Permanent - Full-timeRole of IT Infrastructure Manager:Robust line management and personal development of a team of IT Infrastructure Engineers, ensuring high levels of technical support always remain available to the Group.Ownership as a technical lead and subject matter expert of a defined technology stack, working alongside other technology leads in at least two of the following areas:

  • Network Management (WAN/LAN/WiFi)
  • Telephony Management (Mobile/Landline/Contact Centre/Unified Comms)
  • Managed Print Services
  • Security Tooling
  • Identity Access Management
  • Email, Storage & Domain Management
  • Cloud Services Management
Responsible for the planning, migration and continuous improvement of each aligned technology stack as part of the Groups integration programmes of work and/or the wider IT integration programme of work.Effective management and maintenance of well performing and cost-effective technology, application and infrastructure solutions, identifying and resolving any outages or performance issues both internally and externally.Responsibilities of an IT Infrastructure Manager:
  • Responsibility for the technical aspects of IT migrations, relocations and integration projects in conjunction with the IT Integration and Cloud Services Manager.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of all assigned technical aspects within a project, that the work is performed to a high standard, in accordance with the project plan and project budget and that pro-active engagement and communication is maintained withall key stakeholders.
  • Identification of key performance indicators, regular reviews of performance against any set KPIs and regular reporting against agreed service levels.
  • Ensure all agreed SLAs are met, both internally and externally, and ensuring any breaches, failures or incidents are escalated and managed appropriately.
  • Cost management activity to track, monitor and report spend against agreed budgets and informing reforecasting activity in line with demand levels.
  • Identification, replacement and termination of all legacy technology, infrastructure and technical debt within any aligned technology stacks.
Experience of an IT Infrastructure Manager:
  • Demonstrable experience Manging a busy IT support Team
  • Demonstrable SME expertise with one of the Technology Stacks
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering IT Migration Projects
  • You will need to have knowledge of Technical Support / Problem Solving, Incident Management, Microsoft technologies (O365, Server, Windows, IIS etc), VOIP Telephony, Wide Area Network, including Firewalls and TCP/IP
  • You will need to be an excellent communicator both verbal and written, be able to work within a matrix team, be a proactive problem solver and an independent thinker
