Job Description

IntaPeople are proud to be working in partnership with a fast-growing global services company based in South Wales whom due to recent promotions now require an Information Security Officer to join the team. You will represent the Information Security & Resilienceteam and work with members across the business to establish and effectively manage security risks to the business, striving to achieve strong information security.We are looking for someone to implement, monitor and audit information management and cyber security policies/procedures within the business. Within this role you will also be ensuring data is held securely, and look at GDPR compliance and data protectionassessments, whilst keeping an eye out for scams and identifying any security incidents - getting to the root cause to find appropriate solutions if necessary.Experience:

  • Experience of working in an information security or compliance team/within an ISO27001 certified Information Security Management facility
  • Relevant qualifications / be willing to undergo training & formal qualifications, such as ISO 27001 Implementer, MoR, NCSC Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) scheme
  • Practical application of risk management methodologies
  • Experience of carrying out security compliance checks
  • A team player with the ability to communicate in an engaging & effective manner
Whilst working within this fast-paced environment you will strive to continuously improve your knowledge whilst picking up the latest skills and tools, and you will prioritise your own tasks in line with the Security Management Plan.
