Job Description

HR Manager£30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus excellent benefitsPermanentSwanseaAre you looking for a role offering variety and the opportunity to add value within a busy Manufacturing environment This is a unique position where you will make a huge impact in an ever-evolving business. My client is part of a wider group of companieswho offer security and a long-term career for the right individual.As the HR Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all HR communications. You will liaise with directors and department heads to understand the needs of the business and ensure that policies and practices are adapted and followed as required.Your open approach will be an active representation of the company values, setting and reinforcing the standards for positive behaviours at all levels.This role requires full visibility meaning you will be based on site full time; employee engagement is key!As HR Manager you will be required to

  • Develop robust policies and practices for Human Resources
  • Manage all core HR areas, including monthly payroll, employee relations, HR administration, recruitment/on-boarding, employee engagement, and maintaining and improving HR systems.
  • Identify staffing needs and manage the creation of job descriptions and HR handbooks.
  • Support management with employee relations by addressing demands and grievances.
  • Promote and encourage a positive working culture that promotes long term careers with the business
  • Implement Learning and Development programs ensuring high quality staff training, whilst also promoting internal development
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • Additional tasks as and when required relevant to job role
What youll bring to the role
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of regulations, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act and health and safety).
  • An excellent understanding of HR
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships and drive collaboration.
