Fleet Maintenance ControllerSouth Wales£30,000 - £34,000Our Client manages over 8,000 across the UK and is looking for an experienced Maintenance Controller to join their team.The ideal candidate will have experience as a maintenance controller within the vehicle leasing sector; although a time served technician or vehicle service department supervisor with good computer literacy and communication skills would also be looked upon favourably.Required Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:• Experience as a maintenance controller working primarily with LCV’s and cars.• Be able to communicate at a high level with fleet decision makers and their staff ensuring high levels of customer service• Be able to communicate and negotiate with suppliers across the service, maintenance and repair sectors from front line staff to senior management• Ensure the road worthiness and safety of all vehicles managed• Manage clients expectations and maintain high service levels• Manage mechanical repairs remotely and ensure they are carried out correctly• Make decisions and solve problems concerning mechanical, warranty and tyre issues• Monitoring of vehicles on downtime, informing customers of latest information.
